WORKING FOR A SUSTAINABLE CHOCOLATE INDUSTRY

Powered by people, we build a responsible supply chain with long-term impact. As part of this commitment to forest conservation in the Peruvian Amazon, we have joined the:

BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE COCOA INDUSTRY

At Machu Picchu Foods, sustainability is more than a principle; it is the foundation of every step we take. From reducing our carbon footprint to driving development in cocoa-growing communities, we work closely with farmers, partners, and customers to achieve measurable impact.

Our focus includes:

  • Integrity and transparency at source.
  • Community development.
  • Climate action and emission reduction.
  • Organic agriculture.
Cocoa traceability

COCOA TRACEABILITY: BUILDING A TRANSPARENT VALUE CHAIN

Every chocolate tells a story of responsibility and quality.
Through a unique traceability system aligned with EUDR regulations and powered by GIS tools, we monitor every stage of cocoa—ensuring transparency and peace of mind for our partners.

Transparency from bean to bar in five steps

1. Geospatial
data

We use GIS tools to precisely map farm locations.

2. Deforestation
risk

We assess mapped data to identify deforestation risks.

3. Farm
selection

We choose farms that meet sustainability standards.

4. Purchase &
storage

We log cocoa purchases to ensure traceability.

5. Transport &
processing
